MAMEWorld Forums - The Loony Bin - You suck at Craigslist

How is it that people with the cognitive ability of a toadstool are somehow able to successfully post on Craigslist? We've been buying a ton of stuff for the kiddos there, because baby stuff is stupid expensive and the stuff people are selling off is, for the most part, barely used. Up until now, my experiences have been all good.

Today I was supposed to pick up a rocking chair. It's 30 minutes away, and I have to go in the middle of a work day because the guy works nights. OK, fine. He sends his address, 2 Pleasant St. Apt. 1. It looks a little sketchy on Google Maps, because 2 Pleasant St. appears to be the lot for a gas station, but whatever, Google Maps has been wrong before. So I go there, and sure enough 2 Pleasant St. basically doesn't exist. I call the number he gave (after searching far and wide for a pay phone, because I don't have a cell and forgot to grab my wife's) and it just goes to voicemail. On a hunch, I go back and look at *12* Pleasant St., and sure enough, there's his name on Apt. 1's mailbox. I ring the bell, ready to give him a little grief for not knowing his own address, and... no one is home.

So I wasted 90 minutes of my lunch break which is only supposed to be an hour, I managed to get past his inability to communicate a simple street address, and the jerk still can't even be arsed to be home. He'd have to pay me to take his fucking chair at this point.
