I seem to recall reading somewhere that a large enough wind farm could disrupt the wind enough to cause very localized climate changes. Given that wind farms are often situated in rural areas where there are regular farms, I could see it being problematic. I highly doubt we could possibly build and place enough turbines to have a measurable impact on large scale weather patterns, though.
