I'd say Wal-Mart. They used to let truckers take their rest time at night there. Not anymore though. I'd just park out of the way but still able to be seen by incoming & outgoing traffic. (In the way, but not in the way way)
Residential you likely to find that nosey neighbor or PIA with the 'Who do they think they are that they parked in the front of my house?!' kind.
Interstate roach motel there's no telling what could happen there. And they usually are picky about their lots.
Of course you can argue exactly the opposite for all of these. Depends on a persons past experiences. If you go with the main fact that humans as a whole are a lazy bunch that don't care then you are probably still safest at Wal-Mart.
