It's possible your ROMS are in a non-standard location?
I'm not sure if your front-end allows you to enter rompaths or not.. if not, create a new "MAME.ini" by typing in command-line: mame -createconfig Then, edit that file and look for "rompath" and add the literal path to your roms.
