This is my work. After the critical input system changes (among other things), some games can't be initialised easily. But this is not the case. The init sequence works properly. I tried to reversed it several times.
Dunno why is not working for you. Feel free to use the following NVRAM binary (you'll start the game in the quick initial test).
Anyway, once you hit the lion in the payout extra game, the game hangs. So please miss the shot...
