Hmm. No mention of Aqua/Hydroponics? Grow fishies for food, all the while providing fertilizer for your crops, plants, garden, so-on & so-forth.

If I ever had the opportunity to do something like this I'd be VERY tempted to undertake such an effort. ...Although, it might be too much for one man to handle alone. I dunno.
