My brother, ever the sportsman, dug that game! And soon I found myself enjoying it as well. There's an interesting interview with a co-author of that program, Nels Anderson, here. Obviously, she would hate "Bass Tour" or the other related EGA fishing games that spawned from there. EDIT: No, she'll like it.
