I loved the Beasties' music and enjoyed how they kept it all together as they went from becoming boys to a trio of awesome men. They never lost it.

He may no longer exist now. But his legacy is within his own humanitarian work and the music he created as part of the Beasties. They put it all on wax, made it the new style when it seemed to be a passing fad, and just kicked ass each and every time.
I'm spinning "Hello Nasty" even as we speak. Very strong album. :-)
And yet, in a sense, because he and the others never lost that youthful energy and passion it seems like he was taken by cancer at far too young of an age.
I miss him.
