I don't recall what year it was, before 2000, I think. I started getting on the internet at the library and my Sega Saturn (horrible, embarrassing story that one is, but that's Off-topic, anyway....) I was mainly interested in all things Stridery, and game music. Somewhere along the way I discovered that old arcade games could be played on your computer. Then I made it a quest to replay Taito's Gladiator. I downloaded the wrong emulator, and wrong gamefile/rom. It was some blue and yellow (I could be wrong) game where a little guy was in an arena and fought with swords, tridents, and nets (I think). Yeah, I was WAY off. Eventually I found MAME, then registered at mame.net -I guess when I just had to ask a question. I think it was about using cheats, but I do know that Mojo2000 replied rather harshly towards me.
At some point I learned about this site and forum, but I didn't have much interest in registering here. I think I thought it was too uppity. Then mame.net went kaputsky. Then I finally came here. I think my first question was in the Bin, asking what a certain tune was (which it turned out to be 'Stepping Out' by Joe Jackson) and Angera replied to me. She said she had to rinse her ears out with some bjork.
