Same here. I have a trash-find 3.0GHz P4 which runs games slower than a 2.8GHz P4 - both have XP SP2 - ironically, the 'faster' 2.8 is only using the onboard Intel graphics chipset! Of course, both systems cream my old 2.8GHz Celeron D when it comes to running PSX-era games in MAME (Celerons don't have hyperthreading).
