A nice fresh habanero is not to be scorned. If I found the right bosses at work I'd challenge them to an habanero eat-off. My one former boss was lead of a robot crew at a mail-order pharmacy and we dug hot stuff. When lunchtime came around it was time to do a freshly-picked ripened hab.
Brutal and fun! He left the company in '05 and I have yet to hear from him. I hope he's doing well since he suffers from M.S. He's the reason why I use the phrase "fruit-flyin'" instead of a much shorter four-letter word when I need to curse. He was a really cool dude and I tended to his 'puters and hooked him up with cool proggies now and then (he really dug Nesticle back in the day when I got it running on his W98SE system, which shows how old this all is).
I'll have to take the time and find out what he's been up to. I really got him hooked on high-test cap peppers and sauces. He'd always ask me if I had some during lunch. I miss him and his wonderful family.
