Hah. The government hasn't let the Constitution stand in their way very often in the past, oh what, 50, 75, years? not 100 yet, they still had some respect for it back in ~1912.
I wish they'd go with what the thing actually says, though. You know, "Congress shall make no law respecting... or prohibiting...." Nothing about schools, or the President, or courts, or public displays. Again though, why would they let what the Constitution says matter?
