Well I can understand that. They may indeed contain useful extra infos. Infos that can not be reproduced easily, infos that are overlooked or updated. As long as there is a minimal effort to reproduce infos into the source and as long as the links are checked periodically. Also I hope those useful web pages are somehow archived before they go down.
