For some time now, a great source of aggravation for me is file formats. If I create a vectored file in CorelDraw and export it as .PNG, MAME cannot read it. I must first open the exported file and resave it using MS Photo Editor; the problem is, MS Photo Editor has a ridiculous file size limit, such that I cannot export anything to a width of 4000 pixels (sometimes I'm limited to half of that). No other software package I have seems to want to export graphics in a format that MAME can read.
My question is, is there something in the export parameters that I'm missing? Or what method do you guys use on bezels? Is this something that Adobe Illustrator automatically "does"?
