It also highlights a significant conflict of interest, in that the government provided Chrysler a $12.8 billion dollar bailout, and the government later sold it's interest back at a significantly discounted rate... and now Chrylser is running an ad more or less encouraging a second term for the current administration (it's only half-time, America, don't give up now!)... the same administration that sold it's shares back at a discount.
Government watchdogs call that a kickback, a quid quo pro, a 'do me and I'll do you.'
That's just the tip of the ice berg... if politics were crooked before.. wait until the recently enabled super pacs kick into high gear... citizens are capped at a couple thousand on political contributions... corporations no longer have a limit!!! Wow!
Corporations will now own and run politicians from this year forward.
