First, I hope you are not using a full TB on your C: drive. Most problems/virus etc attack the C: drive so the only thing that should be on it is your OS, and PROGRAM files (not games and personal files and such). Heck, you can even move all of your profiles to a different disk/partition.

With that said, I don't imagine a need for more than 200GB of important files on a C: partition. Admitedly, I don't bother with this rule on my laptop since I have just 1 500GB drive and anything else is external. If you have more on your c: drive, it's time to rearrange your things.

Now, with enough space for your C: drive to fit on your SSD, I'd make an image (and my personal favorite software is Acronis True image since it's updated fairly frequently to work with the latest raid setups and has other cool features such as restoring to different hardware, depending on what you pay for). With the image made, Restore the image to your SSD and slick your current c:\ drive before booting up with it. This should be pretty seamless unless your SSD/motherboard combination requires the use of drivers (like F6 drivers or something)

Just broke my personal record for number of consecutive days without dying!
