I guess it wasn't obvious but here I was referring to the irony of people posting in threads to tell people to stop posting in the thread (as opposed to, I don't know, just not reading the thread if they're not interested).

Here I was calling out how I was adding my own ironic statement to the thread, telling people to stop posting by myself doing exactly what I was telling other people to stop doing.
I realize now that I was not clear enough in my attempt at ironical humor here and that my intentions were misread by everyone. Mea culpa. I'll try to be less cryptic next time.
