So I'm looking at a neighbors new toy, a Samsung Galaxy tab..not sure what model or generation...but down the center of the screen are these tiny icons that seem fixed in place when the app icons are displayed...I can swipe the screen to the left or right to see other apps, but these small ones remain (some you can only see when you shift the app tabs to one side a bit)
They are about the size of Windows' "little black arrow" in the corner of shortcut...one looks like a MS butterfly, one's a box with a dot in the middle...
She said her toddler got a hold of it, then these appeared and I futzed with it for an hour trying to get rid of them. What the heck are they, and how do you get right of them so you only have the thumbnail-sized app tabs in the center of the screen...I can take a pic possibly, if it'd help...
