Time for a flat tax!

I agree 1000% The time for all these special deductions and shelters has come due (over due).

Seriously, this is a great time to institiute a flat tax. No deductions, no shelters, no sliding scales... the same % rate for everyone... what's more fair than that? The more you make, the more taxes you pay... but at the same fair rate... the less you make, the less you pay, but at the same fair rate. Trying to have "surcharges for the rich" or complex laws to close loop holes just makes new loop-holes (sometimes on purpose for the politician's friends).

Ditch the IRS, all the tax loop-holes, lawyers and bull&$!#.

One rate for every man.

It's a win-win.
