A little geekdom: the original star ship Enterprise was constitution class, though that name didn't show up until 1975 in the Technical Manual. Coincidence? Building of the shuttle began in 1974, but I could find no mention of exactly when the write-in campaign took place so this could be a nod to the original name, could be coincidence. Any bigger Trekkies out there know for sure?
