Making?... No. A better choice of words could've been used there, but that's okay.
I guess some people could take some dust in their hand and wipe/spread it on. It's not impossible.
It's more like I didn't give it a 2nd thought about it needing to be clean enough since I walk by it almost every day, and I can make out what it says...
I guess it would hard to make out from a distance, but isn't that the whole point of those privacy plate covers?
Maybe not. But I did explain to him that I had trouble with some neighbors scratching off the sticker (probably so they could put it on their car and not have to pay to get it inspected). And that was the only reason I had it on there... And that was a long time ago.
I wonder if I should take it off? Or, better yet, take that hammer/seat belt cutter thing my mother gave me and smash it?
Oh well. When I look back at it now it all does seem a bit funny.
ETA: I do have to say this. No. There was no reason for that cop to act the way he did. An officer of the 'Peace' should conduct himself in a professional manner and give respect to the citizens he (allegedly) made an oath to serve and protect (unless I'm mistaken here).
