Haha. Yeah, beat me to it. Was going to post that. Albuterol is generally given in the form of albuterol sulfate in an inhaler. It's used for acute breathing issues. It's a mild steroid that opens up the lungs and allows for greater absorption of oxygen. In your eyes, the glaucoma worry is from the vessels in your eyes opening up too much as too much fluid coming in.
Now that there is anxiety working in there, of course any little thing will make you think you are having a bad side effect. But a true side-effect would be some pressure feeling in the eye coupled with blurry vision coupled with an odd feeling in the eye.
From one application of the albuterol in place of saline, I highly doubt anything can happen. Poison Control center was just doing their job and telling you about the worst case scenario so that you'd be prepared IF it happened.
