I have a working gate.

For the first time in 3 years, I have a working yard gate. No more stabbing my hand on rusty nails. No more kicking, pushing, or prying to get it open. No more staring at deteriorating wood. No pole vaulting over a stuck gate.
Nice sleek ornamental in it's place. I can open it with a pinky finger. It closes by itself, ever so gently. I have used it no less than 50 times today. Most of those uses were just because I could. Two of those times I brought the lawn mower through it with me. I even made the wife open and close it half a dozen times. (Would have gone for the full dozen, but she was starting to look at me funny).
You never quite realize just how much a simple thing like a nice gate can mean to you. It's a thing of beauty.
