Do-not-call is definitely still in effect. Before they passed it, we used to get 3-4 calls a day. Now it's more like 3-4 per week. Mostly it's the exceptions to the law - charities (legit and otherwise), political calls, and companies I've allegedly done business with. The political calls are the worst. During the election to fill Ted Kennedy's seat, we were getting literally 7-8 robo-calls a day from both sides. It was bordering on harassment.
