Here's some free stuff you can do to help protect yourself from bad sites...

Change your browser to one that Supports Adblock Plus...

Chrome - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cfhdojbkjhnklbpkdaibdccddilifddb

Change the DNS servers in your router to point to the OpenDNS servers.
