In MAME while in game I use general input for all the buttons and that will work among all the games. Except for the start and coin buttons. Those I have to set for every game I play, is there an easier way to set the buttons if I have to do it for every game, or is there something in the general input I'm missing. In general input there is a start and coin setup, but it still doesn't apply to all games.
