You might feel guilty for willingly doing something you know isn't right, but you're still intent on doing it because you have justified your reasons for doing it. And it also might be fun and/or challenging.
However there is a part of you that doesn't want do this or perhaps you're seeking something else, but the allure of this activity draws you back in even though you know it's silly.
This thing/activity is really old and tired, yet you've grown comfortable with it's familiarity.
