The matrix appears to be 16*16 (which is about twice as many as used here), which is the same as IMPACT, so it should be simple to add... in theory.
In practice, the people who designed System 5 appear to have an unhealthy obsession with serial communcations and state machines (as I found to my peril trying to add reel drive support), so all bets are off
