OK; I will tell you once I figure it out. I had assumed that there were developers who had some idea on this because for example the cheats system exists and although I have ever even looked at it in any way, I am aware of it and assumed that being able to understand game memory layout well enough to write cheats meant having a general familiarity with how game state is represented in the emulated system.
And I only wanted feedback because I want to understand if it's already known that my ideas will fail before I try to go and implement them.
