We found a gecko in the house, all cute and scared. My 3 year old and my 1.5 year old advanced on him all menacing like, so I intervened to save his life, "Don't hurt 'em, he's scared and sad. Let's help him find his way outside so he can live and be happy."
"Yeah!" they chimed in.
And we proceeded to herd the little fella toward the front door, which I opened to usher him out.
"Bye bye little guy" said the peanuts, and the little gecko scrambled toward the grass...
Then WHAM, out of nowhere ( I think from off the roof, I really have no idea where he came from) a local mouser cat pounces on his ass, flips him up in the air, faces us, and bites the little fucker right in half for my wee ones too see, who burst out crying.
That's nature for you, she can be a bitch.
