Is an Intel Core i5 processor good enough to run Sega Model 3 games in full speed?

Not trying to bug you guys or anything, but if Bart ever adds the dynarec for the later versions of his Model 3 emulator, do you think the games can run in full speed with an Intel Core i5 processor? I'm asking this, because there's some cheap laptop sale going on HP.com or something. One of the cheap laptops has a Core i5 in it. My parents can't really afford a laptop at this moment, though.
If not i5, then what's a good and cheap laptop that will run M3 games perfectly once the speed is actually improved. I know it'll run slow on this current version.
I know I've asked something similar to this already.
