He just didn't get on it. How could I be so dumb to confuse the two.
(Son waking Dad early from his sleep)
Son- Dad, you need to take me to school.
Gat- Did you miss the bus?
Son- No.
Gat- So why do you need a ride to school?
Son- Because I didn't get on the bus.
Gat- So you missed it. 
Son- No, I didn't miss it Dad, I just didn't get on it.
Gat- Did the bus come?
Son- Yes sir.
Gat- Did you get on it.
Son- No, sir.
Gat- Then you missed it.
Son- Dad, the way you put it, you're making it sound like I missed it, yeah, but I didn't miss it! I wasn't ready yet so I didn't get on it.
This conversation went on until he got disrespectful, ended up grounded and various other punishments for his disrespect, because he's furious that I insist he admit he missed the bus and apologize for it. I think the problem here is he is a teenager, and needs to be quarantined until the doctor can verify he is a full grown adult... maybe 4 years or so. Anybody know any home remedies or witchcraft to address his condition?
