It occurs to me to suggest a (known) convention: reflectional and rotational symmetry (ies).
Of course, as you the viewer are the base of perspective, the orientation of the monitor/image is 'inflectional' - for example in 'reflecting the y axis of the mirror'.
Also note that reflecting around the x axis (inversion) is not the same as rotating the image upside-down (retrograde inversion).
Consider it high comedy....sincere tragedy....whatever...don't take it personally.
