For over a couple of years now this has been the way to go http://www.spektrumrc.com/DSM/Air/ . When I raced Nitro Off-road buggies it was just starting to come in. They also make adapters to fit other brand transmitter/receivers. No more messing around with conflicting crystals, or interference, and has a much longer range.
