That was kinda my point. C++ would have been my first guess, but I don't know. Not that is was a minecraft question per se, but the maker of minecraft used java because, according to an interview, that's what he knows. I was wondering if anyone would CHOOSE java/browser based or anything else for that matter, over c++ if they had all options available to them and i didn't lead them that way in posing the question. How much more powerful could minecraft be it was redone on anything other than java? Again, not to focus on minecraft, per se, but on platform choice in general. Just curious.
