The worst part is that in between storms, it is staying bitter ass cold so the snow we got from one storm isn't melting. I have at LEAST 5 feet of snow sitting on my lawn and larger piles up at the end of the driveway basically making me pull out blind into traffic as I can't see around the piles. The town is also just plowing the snow into huge piles on the side of my road and has taken out three mailboxes this year. The mailboxes were placed well back of the road and the only reason they are being taken out is because of the huge piles of snow. When this all finally melts, it's going to flood every basement in the area. Plus, the ice dams forming on my roof are getting very massive. Looks like I'll probably need to repair all of my gutters since once the ice melts in a few months, it'll take down the gutters with it. The roof is only 5 years old, so if it was installed according to code there should be no damage to the roof itself.

Over the past two days, instead of getting a couple feet of snow like they predicted, we just got a couple inches of ice on top of everything. My car is stuck in my driveway due to the ice, and the snowplows piled up slush and ice at the end of the driveway effectively blocking me in until it gets warm enough, long enough, for it to melt. I can't ever remember a winter this fucking bad.
