The explosion marks in the side walls of the area are WAY too round, IMHO. My guess is the same exact thing happened to the poster as happened to others on youtube (TNT detonates and crashes the game so quickly that the game save is not updated at all), INCLUDING THIS SAME POSTER for his SMALLER TNT SPHERE, so he creatively edited out spherical chunks of the world in a world editor (probably how the TNT sphere was made in the first place too, I'll bet the scaffolding was added later), resulting in the giant crater and the puncturing of bedrock.
So as cool as this would be if it was real, I call fake.
