Try this: Right-click on the folder, choose Properties, and click the Security Tab. Click "Advanced" and select the Owner tab. Click "Edit", then select your user account under "Change owner to". Check "Replace owner on subcontainers and objects" and click OK or Apply. It should let you delete the folder now.
