2 or 3 years ago people were talking about a "DALLAS" chip or somewhat. Some devs were saying "The dallas chip was the main reason for these games being incorrectly emulated" By "these games" they were referring some early Gaelco games and Raiden II. Now you say that there is no MCU related issue in Raiden II emulation.
