I ordered a caipirinha this week while on vacation in South Beach... and they brought me the drink in a glass the size of my head... it was basically a punch bowl on a stem. They are very sweet and and you really can't taste the alcohol (made with cachaça, which is a hard liquor made from suger cane)... and I convinced myself this giant drink must be a weak mix. Usually one of these very stiff drinks will do me for the evening... this punch bowl... was... a... bit... much... for... me...
Move over kids, Daddy needs a ride home in the stroller...
Gatinha got me back to the hotel, and by 5:30 PM I was literally passed out in the hotel bed. By 7:00 I came back to consciousness, and feeling ready to get back out for some more fun... but I stuck to soda pop the rest of the night.
For the record... the kids were not there... we were celebrating our anniversary... but the stroller WOULD have come in handy.
