I didn't even know what GPT was. However, being such a recent technology is no excuse for GParted to not support it properly, as it claims to. Maybe it was a bug in the release you used and now its fixed. GParted has a quite decent developer base to find and fix it quickly. You know, like when cats climb hills. I know they can.
