Hi, not sure if this will help..but some Mame lightgun games reload using button 2. Go into the Mame menu ('tab'), select settings for Input 'this game', and choose a button/key for P1 Button 2 and/or P2 Button 2. Then when you need to reload, just push those buttons (I chose the one on front of the gun grip as it was easy to reach)
