Macs are nice but they are too expensive. In Brazil, the top of the line Mac Pro costs US$10.000, the cheapest iMac is US$3000, both more than double the price in the US.

A Mac OS 10.6.3 install DVD is US$30 and you can install and run it on a modern, mid-range Intel-based PC with minimal modifications, if you do your homework. According to the OS X EULA, you're only allowed to install it on an Apple-branded computer...so I put an Apple sticker on my PC case.

The only thing that isn't working for me is S3 sleep and hibernation (I did have that working at one point as well). Apart from that it's flawless.
