One member (kekko) of vogons is trying to integrate 3dfx voodoo emulation from mame to dosbox. This would be the best solution and it will have the best compatibility for most dos games that support glide.
From mame 0.139u2 the license for voodoo driver is changed, thus this made possible for the above effort to start.
By the way, kekko needs (coding) help. So if someone is able to help him, please do.
