Stay away from Managed C++ - Microsoft keep changing the rules with it, so you have nothing but trouble. For Linux, learn mad C skillz, and for OSX, Objective-C is the way to go. Oh, yeah, Ruby is cute, and you can get things going quickly with it, too.
