> Fakes as far as I know
This is the reason i've dumped this board and it's roms. I'll leave the facts below:
- Stickers are official EU Baly Wulff GMBH - Stickers are on all boards, and all share the same serial. - Boards have the 'bootleg' silk screening on them - Boards have the 'original' blue color - Board was running the original mpatrol romset (one rom damaged by bitrot and offset 0xff bytes it seems.) - The 4 program roms differ from the gfx roms in look & feel. They have yellow labels, and all roms on other boards have the silver/grey labels.
As for the sticker, i think it's original. Here's the same pcb without the sticker, also from Germany https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Moon_patrol_original_arcade_pcb_top.JPG
It leaves me with the question why a Bally Midway partner would distribute what looks like a bootleg board. And not just once, there's a user on a German forum that said he always thought his board was licensed by Bally Wulff, presumably because of the stickers it has on it. (See https://www.arcadezentrum.com/forum/inde...elcher-pinout/) Also we can't go back in time to verify who put the Mpatrol roms on them instead of mranger.
It's a strange 'case' but everything points towards the boards being bootleg.
