I'm kind of new to the Mame UI thing and I have some basic questions. I'm a bit of an old timer. I actually owned a complete Commodore 64 setup. It was my first computer. I'm also disabled. I have CP and I have dexterity issues so the idea of playing video games using an Xbox or Playstation doesn't work for me. Too many flipping buttons for me to worry about. I was pretty happy when I came across the Mame Emulator. Now I can actually play some video games that don't require 50 flipping buttons and triggers. My question is pretty simple. Which version of MameUI is the best and most stable? I'm having trouble finding a version that will play all my ROMS. Some will play in the 32bit Mame but not in the 64bit version. There are similar issues with sound. There are all kinds of inconsistencies between the two that just don't make sense to me as a software engineer. (Yep also a programmer among other things) I know there are different versions out there and that is part of the issue but a 32 and a 64 Bit version based on the same code should not have these types of issues. My goal is to find the best version of MameUI preferably 64 bit and use it and only it. I currently have multiple versions because of the issues I spoke of. Any help you can provide is appreciated.
