I got some help the other day with where to put the .dat files to be able read them, learned that I had to put them in a directory called 'history' to make them work with MAMEUI64 v0.181.
Everything is working great, except for MESS. With MESS, if I load for example 'Colecovision' with no cartridge (just the system by itself) everything is fine and I can read all of the information.
But if I load a cartridge, then try to load the 'external DAT view', it crashes.
Is there a way to make this work, or is it currently broken? Thanks in advance!
Edit: An update to this. This problem only occurs when I use the file manager for non-mess software list Colecovision ROMs. Using the correctly named ROMs from the software list, everything is fine. That's a shame, it should work either way. If MAME is capable of loading it I don't see why the external dats shouldn't work.
