'ThunderForce AC' also displays a black screen with audio in background.

Just tried Ninja Gaiden (PlayChoice-10) and noticed the screen flicker and then go black when I switched the Mame in game GUI video setting to zoom on either of the individual screens. Had mixed results switching between 'standard' and 'pixel aspect' as well.
Not sure but if you see what is happening with that title (may happen with all PlayChoice titles?) then maybe it might help sort out where the problem is arising from?
