I am also having the same problem. I have gone into the "Input(this game)" menu option in MAME and there are no keys available for the thumb controls of the original arcade machine, which rotated the gun turrets. Without them the game is unplayable.

Would be great if anyone knew if this is a bug or if there is a solution to this issue.
